Birding Paradise & Wildlife Encounters
Home to over 200 species of birds, Ontulili Forest is a haven for bird lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. Spot rare beauties like the Hartlaub’s Turaco and the Narina Trogon, or watch the playful antics of the elusive colobus monkey. Other common sightings include bushbucks, hyenas, waterbucks, warthogs — and all the Big Five if you’re lucky!


Forest Camping – Sleep Under the Canopy

Unplug and reconnect under the stars in one of our two well-equipped forest campsites. Set beside a tranquil stream, each campsite offers a chance to truly immerse in nature’s peace, with the soothing sounds of birdsong and rushing water as your soundtrack.

Guided Forest Hikes
Our 3.5 km forest trail is a winding, scenic route that leads hikers through diverse ecosystems and ends at the breath-taking waterfalls and azure pools. Though some sections are steep, the hike is manageable and rewarding with panoramic views, rich plant life, and occasional animal sightings.
